A lifelong environmentalist, Matilda is excited to bring her passion for teaching about nature to Riverbend. Matilda has a degree in Environmental Science from American University, but loves the opportunity to expand her knowledge every day by working outside. Matilda’s mission as an educator is to make sustainability accessible to all communities in order to build up a generation of environmental stewards. In her free time, Matilda enjoys hiking, mountain biking, traveling, and sewing.
